Its land surface is Ha 1569 and the resident population is about 1400 inhabitants. The prevalent activities are agriculture, handicraft, tertiary sector. The historical centre of the town is characterised by terraces, alleys, portals and yards which contribute to re-create an ancient atmosphere.
